Soapbox.  I spent most of the week working myself up to do more than a
token effort at a SSB contest.  I was ready yesterday.  What a waste of
time and effort.  I was all ready to put in a decent amount of time.  But
nooo, it didn't happen.  Two hours into the contest the thunderstorms
settled over head.  I made another QSO or two and then shut down.  I spent
the next three hours cleaning up the shack waiting for the thunderstorms to
move on.  They didn't.  I did.
