Anyone have any experience mitigating RFI issues with AFCI type circuit breakers? My Surf City house has a bunch of them and they are very susceptible to RFI. On some bands, even 50 watts out will trip them. These are made by Eaton and they are known troublemakers according to W1RFI at ARRL. Apparently they used to have some contacts at the factory that were ham-friendly and they would send more RFI resistant replacements. I have had no luck in reaching anyone yet. despite multiple attempts.
I'm working on adding more feedline isolation, but it appears that even clean radiation from antennas is enough to trip, as it is looking for anything superimposed on an AC sine wave. I can't get rid of them as they are required by building code here.
Any advice on less RFI susceptible models would be appreciated.
