Ted,
a little Google-fu turns up a couple of hints, but you may have them
already.
T32AF entered the 1982 CQWW SSB contest with KH6UR as op
NCDXC Oct 1987 newletters says T32AF via JA1NVG
the Danish ham magazone OZ in May 1989 says via K7EHI
T30CB is listed as a 2 week operation by Erik Edberg, W6DU, in Feb 1983 DX
column in 73 Mag.
I'd suggest looking through 73 magazines of that era, especially the DX
columns. Chod Harris was writing them at the time and he was good. Also
check QST DX columns. All online. You might also look at copies of the
NCDXC (Northern Cal DX Club) newsletters, also online. If you can find
copies of other DX pubs online they might also give you some good leads. GL.
I went through a similar thing with Navassa. I worked it back in 1979 when
KP4AM and crew went there. As a teenager I was still keeping paper logs in
a re-cycled school notebook. Somewhere along the way I didn't record the
time/date correctly as it didn't flow with the Qs before and after in the
log. Years later I tracked down KP4AM (now W4DN) via email. Yes, he still
had the logs. They were paper logs, naturally. I wasn't about to ask him to
comb through them looking for my Q, but he did offer to let me look through
the logs if I ever got to Miami and wanted to visit. I never got to Miami
and eventually worked K1N like everybody else to get my Navassa counter
decades later.
