Below is a link to the March 1935 issue of "Radio" magazine. On page 5
there is an article by Clair Foster, W6HM, entitled "Shot in the Patio".
Who was Clair Foster? You might say he was the Wayne Green of his day. If
you read his piece, you'll see that controversy in the management of the
ARRL is not a recent phenomenon. I'll also recommend Foster's piece on page
9 entitled Colonel Foster's Comment, which may be relevant given the
upcoming WRC.

Lastly, on page 26 is a column by the eminent Hashafisti Scratchi. I had no
idea Scratchi went back that far. Scratchi does not pass the current
political correctness standards, but his message is sound, and humorous.
