Thanks, Henry, great article.  HOWEVER, as good friend ND2O pointed out to
me after I forwarded it to him, the author completely misses the
"desperation" factor in this immediate flurry of FT8 activity.  The current
lack of sunspots is definitely a factor in driving folks to these newer
digital modes.  Hopefully the older modes will see some revival when they
become more viable on a day-to-day basis.  IMHO, there's nothing like
working the world on 10 meters with a simple station when the sunspots are
good!
