[PVRCNC] Return to PVRC Land

Hi!

     I am Bill Axelrod, K3WA.  I've been a member of PVRC since 2002 when I
lived in Northern Virginia and then West Virginia.  Moved away in 2008 to
the Black Hole of Illinois.  And now it is time for the XYL and I to
downsize.  Once we get our property out here sold, we plan to move back to
PVRC Land and specifically the Raleigh-Durham area.  Hopefully, that will
happen before year's end.  We have family in Raleigh and in Chapel Hill.
We'll be looking throughout that area.

     So many of you fill my contest logs and I look forward to meeting you
all and to getting active again in PVRC oriented contesting.  I am about a
99% CW and RTTY guy.  I have been active in every CW Sweepstakes but one in
the last twenty years.  I also like to do multi-ops for the DX contests.

     If anyone knows of ham friendly areas to focus on, or even non-ham
friendly areas to avoid, please do let me know.  I won't be looking to put
up a big station for the same reason that we are down-sizing.  Just can't
do the maintenance any more.  The worst case would be some remote ham radio
in my future.

     Again, I look forward to meeting you all in person and getting
involved with PVRC again.
