This is such bad news and hits me very hard. You’re such a good friend and I always look forward to you calling me in every contest. You’ve also been a great technical Elmer for me. Hope you’ve still got lots of time with us.
And would you believe last week I just ordered a KPA500 and KPAT500 to upgrade the VP5 station. Tracking shows delivery on Monday. I would have taken yours.
I’d like another K3 but have well equipped K3s and don’t know if I can justify another one as loaded as yours. If It doesn’t sell quickly let me know and I’ll think about it some more.
Down to the island tomorrow morning for short trip to take care of some work on the property. Probably won’t get on the air this time. Have a couple VE3’s down the following week for 6M activity and they’re bringing some multi element yagi for that.
