[PVRCNC] Questions for N1MM geeks(or anyone else with answers)

Having finally installed N1MM, and have it actually put the files where 
they belong during the installation, yet another delightful feature of 
this inexplicably popular marvel has piqued my curiosity.

1) Is the autohotkey install currently the only way to remap any of the 
default keyboard shortcut defaults?  Google is not providing answers, 
and if it is obvious, it ain't obvious to me.  Seems like this was 
possible/easier in previous versions I experimented with.

To satisfy the curious as to why I ask, I have 45 years of muscle memory 
in my fingers on a keyboard, and some things are easier to adjust to the 
muscle memory instead of learn new, strange, and annoying combinations. 
And yes, laptop keyboards are even worse.
