Thanks to everyone's good help this past week, as I brought up my old C-Line to be qrv in raleigh.

Steve kz1x/4 solved my muffin fan issues! Thanks, Steve!

This is such a great local club- so many people offered help at every turn- thanks very much!! I look forward to returning the favor

Now, all I need is a standard AC cord for a muffin fan with a 2 prong plug that plugs into the fan with 5/16" spacing between prongs- it looks like a standard plug--- if no one has one, I can just solder on a cord. If anyone has one of these plugs, I'd be grateful to buy it from you. I can send pix if needed.

Today, with an 80m delta loop in the back yard, I think I just worked the 3C1L on 30m for an ATNO.

I say "think" since I had to spin the receiver knob up and down 10 kc to "simulate" split and needed to always land at the exact freq for Rx and TX. I only have the 30m crystal in the R4C-- hi).

I could only here "NB" as I quickly spun the dial down to hear him, and then sent my call 3 times and 5NN on what I thought was the exact same Tx freq, and spun the dial back down to hear the "u" in "TU". I was at the "right" freq to anticipate his listening, and the timing seemed to be quite good. So,I think I worked him and am hoping I'm in the log at 2011z today!!

If anyone happened to be listening to the pile up and heard him come back to me (e.g. Heard my entire call) , please let me know.

Tnx for all the good help ! 73 ted N9NB
