I concur with K2AV's assessment which I commented on in jest earlier.
January NAQP is usually a lot of fun with 80 and 160 quiet and 4 or 5 band
runs possible. 20M was the only band that would support a LP run for me but
didn't stay on long enough to make much of a score. I spent some time
listening to run stations on 80 battling to copy callers I was hearing Q5
through the noise.  Tried to figure out whether it was my location,
antennas, radio or settings. Probably all of the above. I couldn't get much
output on 75 as I did not go out in the rain to lower the ends and unclip
the "tails" on my 80M antenna cut for CW portion and SWR was too high above
about 3650.

Maybe the tables will turn in August..
