Guys,

I ran into this "slide rule" type calculator for FAA NDB shortened 
vertical antenna design.

It yields some stuff that EZNEC	doesn't. It estimates antenna 
efficiency, current, peak voltage and bandwidth.

One does have to guess at the ground loss contributor since the charts 
provided cover only 200 - 500 kHz and 30 or 60 radials.

There is a prescription for handling guy wire type top hats.

Worth a look at your 160M antenna.  You might be surprised how high peak 
voltages can be.
