Soapbox :
In an act of supreme bravery or stupidity (you be the judge) AA4NC said we
could use his call despite his not being able to attend. We did our best to
to get Will WAOO (Worked All OO's) but we may have missed a few.

In a change of scenery, we trekked out to the family farm and set up a
tribander, a droopy dipole for 40m and an 80m dipole to enjoy some radio
out in the country. Oh, what's a droopy dipole? It's a 40m dipole taped to
a pair of 20' crappie poles with the excess drooping off the ends mounted
above the tribander. I tried to convince the crew it had the advantage of
dual polarization, but I'm not sure everyone bought it. Nevertheless, it
worked.

We started Field Day with a toast to our dear departed amigo W0UCE with his
favorite libation. After that, we weren't real concerned about the score.
It was a a good weekend with friends and some radio thrown in for
justification of staying up all night and eating good (and bad) food.

So all those Friends of Will who wondered why he sounded like such a lid
when you said "hi", well, it wuz us, not him. Thanks to Will for letting us
drag his good call through the dirt a little. Thanks to everyone else for
the Qs. Even those who were duping us a half hour into FD. Please Copy!
