Note the timing on the AL QSO Party. High bands are often difficult for us in NC but there’s lots of time for 40 and 80 to get us in to ‘bama.

Subject: [cwops] Alabama QSO Party Saturday

The Alabama QSO Party will be this Saturday (or today) from 1700Z to 
0400Z, 12 hours on CW and SSB. Jeff, KU8E and I plan to cover most of 
the counties in Southern Alabama using the SECC club call, W4AN/M. We 
plan to try to work both CW and SSB, so don't hesitate to ask us to 
change modes. There will be many other AL stations QRV also and with 
many mobiles, including K4ZGB, N4ZZ, and KN4Y. We expect all AL 
counties to be QRV, so please get on and give a call to any AL station 
you hear.
