Thanks for the reminder, Bob. This is an interesting project and hopefully does call attention to a vital part of our national heritage. Thanks Teddy Roosevelt and others. I hope our present culture can lose some shortsightedness and keep every possible protection in place. OK--political comments over.
Coordinating this with state QSO parties can be a great attraction for contacts and boost activity for the QSO parties. It's made me reconsider my mobile plans. I'll be looking at the map to see how I can set my route to activate a few sites in NC during the NCQP and maybe SCQP as well next month. I think the plan will be to reduce the number of counties and give longer activation in some of the NPS sites during the party.
Would also be great destinations for bonus stations.
