I have a HP 1741A oscilloscope that is too large for my cramped lab and
working spaces. Free to anyone who wants to pick it up (meet somewhere in
NC Triangle area) or handle shipping. If no interest the unit is going to
the Wake county recycle spot that takes electronics.
It comes with probes and manual. When I last had it on, it was working, but
would also be a complete parts unit for someone keeping one alive.
Not the same range and accuracy, I use a DiSco2 digital scope which is
2x4x1 inches and runs off USB from my shop laptop for the simple needs I
have, like looking at audio or RF waveforms. The HP gathers space,
cumbersome to use, and I am cleaning up lab/shack of stuff I don't need,
gritting my teeth, ignoring terrible hoarding instincts, and hoping the
exercise does not cause brain damage.
A current eBay listing for this is
http://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-1741A-Oscilloscope-100-MHz-/200818744366.
Plenty of web based info on the unit.
