That is great news. Glad they're cracking down at the only place it can stop copper theft, or at least slow it down. Last year several expensive HVAC units at our office condos were vandalized and the Freon released into the atmosphere, with a couple thousand in damages, just to get a few $, probably for drugs. Fortunately our unit wasn't selected but that kind of thing really ticks me off.  Gladly provide ID info, etc. if it cuts down on theft and vandalism.
