Comments: I like NAQP's boy-and-his-radio format (for those of us without
SO2R!). The high bands were sort of a mixed bag at the start. Within the
first hour I had hit 10/15/20 trying to get something started. It was a
little slow but finally picked up. I ended up going to 40m what I thought
was a little early. It turned out to be just right. I found a spot at
7167-ish that was reasonably clear (what are the odds?) and ran, ran, ran.
I had rates of 250+. 40 was so good, I was afraid I was getting to 80 too
late. 80 was quiet, noise-wise, and reasonably productive. I hit 160
looking for mults, and despite some RF feedback in my audio and no RX
antenna, I still managed to scoop up enough to make it worthwhile. I ended
up running for 10 hours straight, so ran out of time at 11. I'll wait to
read about all the great openings from 11-1 that I missed. Tnx for all the
Qs and great to hear so many familiar calls/voices.

73, Mike N4GU
