Good news-Bad news. Good news is had some fun runs and enjoyed working a lot of club members. 40M wire yagi played great to west.

Bad news is I'm STILL recovering from near miss lightning strike that took out more small stuff than I can count and keep finding. And some big stuff like a monitor, my shack old desktop and video card on new computer. At least the TS480 was still in its travel case. And the Orion II fired up normally. Not enough working peripheral stuff for SO2R but that's ok.
Contest starts with S&P. Can't bust a pileup. Worse they call CQ. Even Bert K1IMI does it to me. Finally work N9CK obviously off frequency who kindly sends "check RIT". Is on but shows no offset. Cancel button has no results. Turn RIT completely off and back to normal. Use split for running. First break do master reset. No good. Now find some other buttons don't work so looks like some voltage came in on something and it needs a round trip to Ten-Tec.

Still some time before SS!
