Hey Guys,
   I thought you might be interested to know what's been going on with
me. A heart condition (afib leading to heart failure) that started about
10 years ago finally got in my face this year and I've been getting it
fixed. I'm a day away from release from UNC after the second stay in two
weeks, and if all goes well I'll be over here one more time in November
for the final step of some "heart remodeling" to permanently cure me of
the condition and allow me to exercise my heart back to strength. With
luck and a tail wind by this time next year I'll be close to normal.
Wait, let me reword that. Becoming normal would require more than we
could ask from medical science, and I'll be just as ugly as I was
before, but instead of being on the verge of keeling over all the time I
may live to see Congress become functional again.
