A friend at at work asked me to sell a FM tuner and Stereo
amplifier. Both of them do not have a manufacturer marked on them. The
Amplifier has Stereo STA-24. By searching the internet I believe they are both National
Kits.

I cleaned them and brought them up slowly with a
variac.  I put in three tubes that were
missing. One had 6AU6 written on the chassis. The other two did not have any
markings. I searched the internet and found someone selling the same amplifier.
That person listed the tubes. I was able to determine that the two missing
tubes are 12AX7. Both the tuner and amplifier work. I don't have the schematic
or instructions on alignment. All the capacitors are original.

National Kit, STA-24 stereo amplifier. This amplifier has
the following tubes:

Four 6V6
One  5U4
Two  6201  (special 12AT7)
Two  12AX7 (both
new)

The FM tuner has these tubes:

Two   12AT7
Three 6AU6 (one new)

Sold as is.

Is anyone interested? Make an offer?  If no one is interested I will take them to
the RARS auction on Tuesday October 1 st.    http://rars.org/
