[PVRCNC] RX antenna thoughts

Listening to all the noise this weekend made me wax nostalgically for the days of yore when I had a farmer's field behind my house and had free reign to install beverage antennas once the corn was cut. Since the pesky neighbors decided to build houses on my former beverage field, I have come to the conclusion that I need to look into some of these active RX arrays that are becoming available. There are a couple of the Hi-Z arrays available used right now. WX0B has a new K9AY-ish looking array for sale as well.

I'd appreciate your thoughts on these. I know W0UCE gives a thumbs way up for the Hi-Z. Only issue I see for these used ones is that they are the 3 element variety and both of them are selling to upgrade to the 4 element models. Is the 4 element that much better? The paper specs. don't seem to indicate that, but they probably know something I don't.
