Take a look at:
http://reversebeacon.blogspot.com/2010/11/using-rbn-telnet-server-brief-tutorial.html
another useable rbn cluster....(uses ar cluster)
arcluster.reversebeacon.net port 7000
There are some 'ordinary' clusters that are now passing along RBN spots
combined with human spots. A real Forest Gump box of chocolates.....
VE7CC will play pitch-n-catch with either arcluster or dxspider. The
native filter commands are different for each, VE7Cc acts as the
middleman.
Bruce's advice on the RBN filtering is good.
FWIW, my own skimmer will be of little use. I burned up the 20m and 15m
skimmers, and the 80m/40m will be down while I am operating. There are
at least 2 other 24/7 skimmers in NC, so that should not be a problem.
You also want to get the client version of VE7CC, not the server. (I
don't use it, so can't really help with it)
