Soap Box:

This was the third (Second from Harkers) IOTA contest
for W4MY operating an island station.  This year it
was Marty, W4MY and NCCC defector Barry, K6RM,
operating.  Weather was perfect! Mild winds for the
Rocket Launcher (AB-577) and C3E for 10/15/20 and
inverted vee doublet for 40/80.  Rig was a TT Eagle
using N1MM.  Phone activity was plentiful receiving 
lots of low serial numbers cashing in on the casual ops.
Pileups were steady, but not massive as in past years. 
Worked many OC islands, up from last year.  Every time
we checked 10 meters it was dead, not much more on 15 
either.  Respective XYLs had a good time too visiting 
and shopping.  Son, Oliver (No call sign) catered/cooked
all meals so we didn't need to go out resulting in
spending more valuable time at the radio.  NA-067 was 
well represented, W4O(N4YDU) was QSO #1!
