[PVRCNC] Kenwood PS-52

I've sold both of my TS-850's but kept one of the matching Kenwood PS-52
power supplies which has powered my Orion for several years now. This is a
transformer type linear ps and totally quiet. Looks good and matches the
Kenwood line so is generally more desirable than the generic 20A supplies
for collectors and purists. Also have factory carton.

However, during Wednesday night's CW MiniTest I noticed some ac hum although
everything else worked fine. Swapped power supplies and sure enough, the hum
disappeared. Put it on the oscilloscope and there's an almost unmeasurable
AC component but I guess it doesn't take much to make hum. My guess is it
needs the OEM electrolytics replaced but otherwise it's clean with full
output. Appearance is good.

Rather than keeping this ps I'm going to a 45A version that will power both
radios plus accessories. Anyone want to make an "as is" offer on this one
before I put repairs on the "to-do" list or put it on QTH.com? Or does
anyone have a 40+ Amp supply for sale or swap?

Can bring to Thursday meeting.

73,

Jim, K4QPL
