Congratulations, Roland! Great job.
While I like to contribute to the club, I've been on a "do more with less"
kick the past couple years so for CW I've been in the "night light" (QRP)
category.
My mailbox also had a NC Section winner certificate as a repeat of 2010.
The difference in 2011 was the incredibly close race with Paul, AA4XX, with
just a few points spread and as the pollsters say, "within the margin of
error".
I'm sure Paul will be in there this year to try and prevent a "3-peat"!
The bad news is that I will probably be out of the country for my club
contribution weekend, SS-SSB. My father in law will celebrate his 98th
birthday in ZS3 November 18 and although he's in great shape, we never know
how many more he has.
73,
Jim, K4QPL
