On 80m Bruce handed off to me on 3819.5. I stayed there for 30 or 40
minutes before the high power ragchewer QRM(and decimated rate)
convinced me there were greener pastures elsewhere. Spun down to the
"beastnet" frequency at 3666.
I was asked very politely if I could "slide down a bit", so I complied,
even though I expect my QRM was imaginary since their ragchew was way up
on 3668.5. 3665.00 was good, with much less QRM than the last few
minutes on 3819.5, and I stayed there until I handed it back to Bruce
for the home stretch, QSY to 160m I think..
Worked very few locals that I remember. W4KSZ. If you had called I
probably would have been on the wrong beverage anyway. Seems like I
always was. Hard to hear the VE's when listening west, or the Texans
when listening North. They all seem to have had a nack for calling when
I had it on the opposite. Hope thats a high quality switch on N1LN's
beverage box. :o
