Where/when were you guys on 80?

I got home and turned on the radio about 0330 but no internet and just S&P'd
for locals, friends and PVRC'ers. No 160 antenna so couldn't go there. Made
about 37 Q's in about an hour or so. Went up and down the band at least
twice looking for you. Amazing--first contact on 80 was N6SFO. Easy copy
apparently. Afterwards I discovered my radio was still set for 5W from the
last QRP contest! Maybe there's something to QRP SSB. Cranked the power up
20x immediately though. Worked WX3G then WW4LL and he tried to send me up to
40. Heard John BAI operating there at about S-1 but he never even heard me.
Scanned 40 and made a couple and went back down to 80. Worked Paul, N4PN,
Kirk K4RO and a few other familiar calls. QRT about 0445.

73,

Jim
