RTTY is really a fun contest mode when you can get all of the pieces parts playing nice together. It is a software miracle that everything does mesh together as we had N1MM with 2 digital engines, 2 sound interfaces, 2 Signalink USB interfaces, and 2 instances of MMTTY running on a single computer. There were a few gremlins, but it generally worked!

It's been a while since we have done multiops here, but I hope that this will become more of a regular occurrence. Bert and Jim are good ops and good sports for putting up with my loud girls here at the house. Liana gets very loud and excited watching sports on TV. Both her teams won (NC State in basketball and the Denver Broncos in the NFL playoff game). Bootsy (the dog) gets loud especially if anyone is eating around her, and we put a dent in a lot of Christmas goodies during the contest.

Conditions seemed down a little compared to the great high band openings we have had lately. 20m was the money band (as usual on RTTY), and 40 provided a lot of Qs as well as a good JA opening on Sunday morning that was a low power suprise.

Comments:

First multiop contest from AA4NC in a while...Good to have N4CW back and W4TMO
here for the first time. Had lots of fun hanging out since we didn't have to
wear headphones.

Conditions seemed to be down a bit, but we were pleased with the score. Low
power never felt like a handicap.
