Comments:

Two teenage boys in the house these days= not much  radio time.  Trying to 
work
in a few hours here and there....didn't  quite make my "few hours" goal with
only 1.5 but it's a  start.    SPECIAL NOTE TO PVRC (Not included in 3830 
post):   Also I'm still dealing with recently (April) going suddenly deaf in 
one  ear
which does impact my ability to "hear" radio at this point with the  
deafness and associated other symptoms.  Hoping to better
adjust to that  as well in time.  That is also a major reason why I am not 
able to attend  PVRC meetings right now...I can not function (hearing) in 
noisy environments  with multiple voices talking. Maybe someday I'll figure 
out a way to  improve that situation in my ear/brain.  We'll see.  Just know 
that  it's not my desire to abandon the group...it's just too depressing for 
me to  deal with going to such functions now and feel isolated even though 
I'm sitting  around 20 other friendly folks who are willing to engage me in 
conversation...I  just can't meet the challenge at this time.  With all that 
said, just know  that I'm still PVRC and will still try to get in on the air 
some (I have mucho  antenna work to do...no 10-20m right now) and hope to 
catch you all again on the  radio and in person very soon.  
 
Through it all...I have much to be thankful for and am focusing on the many 
 blessings in life.
