Only planned on a casual effort anyhow, but on Saturday afternoon the amp decided to REALLY warm the shack with bright red plate on the 3-500Z with high idle current. Not sure how long that lasted before I discovered it. Hopefully just the Zener bias diode and the tube is OK but we'll see....

Enjoyed the beautiful Autumn Sunday but got on for the last hour with 20 open to everywhere from NC. Kept busy spinning the rotator for mults. Great conditions.
