[PVRCNC] Sweepstakes starts in just 2 weeks!

It¹s time to warm up those radios ­ Sweepstakes starts in two weeks!  We¹ve
got a TOUGH challenge going for 4 in a row against NCCC ­ the newly arrived
sunspots give the west coast a great advantage.

YOUR SCORE IS NEEDED FOR PVRC!

CW Sweepstakes: November 5-6

SSB Sweepstakes: November 19-20

For a little extra encouragement, or just a little extra fun, there are
going to be some special PVRC-NC East awards for this year.  A one-year
subscription to National Contest Journal (NCJ) will be awarded to the most
improved CW score and the most improved SSB score.  There will also be
awards for BIC (Butt In Chair) - The Calloused Butt Award will be given to
every participant who puts in at least 16 hours in either (or both!) modes,
and the Iron Butt Award will be given to every participant who puts in a
full 24 hours.  There will also be awards for the high score CW, SSB, and
both modes combined (including a Tribander and/or Wires category).

Set a goal for yourself that will inspire you, and I¹ll CU on the air!
