[PVRCNC] [PVRC] 2011 SS Very Preliminary Results?

No questioning they've got talent. So do we. What we have, and they
apparently did not have, is the logs. If it's been said once, it's been said
a zillion times. Lots of logs = club win. The SS scoring method minimizes
the spread between the good and great scores. And at least as far as cw is
concerned, four of our casual members putting up an easy and relaxed 350 x
75-80 sections neutralizes one super op with 1400 x 80 not counting our own
super ops.

Going back to the other thread, as far as the club competition is concerned,
let's keep it fun for everyone and the results will come. From a personal
standpoint, each member can compete at whatever level they want. There's not
a lot of room at the top of the nationals with scores separated by just a
few qso's and occasionally, tied. But rankings within regions, divisions,
sections and classes mean that there's a lot of wallpaper being handed out
for those who want it, not to mention our own 5M and SS specials.
