[PVRCNC] 2011 SS Very Preliminary Results?

Glad you started the ball rolling, Wes. I've been curious but too
busy/lazy to try and find the data myself. The data we have to work with
suggests two possibilities to me: 1) NCCC is sandbagging on 3830 or 2)there
was a colossal drop in NCCC participation. #2 has happened to PVRC in the
past, so it's a possibility, but given the improvement in conditions seems
unlikely. Well, once the received logs are reported on the ARRL website,
we'll know if either 1, 2 or 3, whatever that is, is the case. Even without
the scores, we can make a rough call. The average station score for each
club usually doesn't change a lot year-to-year, where NCCC has a slight
edge over us, traditionally. It really comes down to how many logs get
submitted. If the log total imbalance remains, #2 is likely. If the numbers
comes in pretty close, we'll have a horse race. Personally, horse races are
more fun than run aways.
