Team TI5N is returning to Costa Rica for the 2012 ARRL DX SSB contest.
Unfortunately the economy hasn't encouraged people to travel which has
made it more difficult to find operators. We are seeking additional
operators to join us.

In 2011 with all stations running K3's we won Multi-Multi with over
11,000 contacts. Some of the pileups were incredible and now with the
bands picking up it dreams of big scores. If you've always wanted to go
on a Contest Expedition I'd encourage you to try this one. You don't
have to be the fastest contest operator just willing to be a team player
and to have fun!

Keko TI5KD rents his place Thursday - Monday but we usually arrive on
Wednesday and depart on Tuesday giving everyone a opportunity to explore
Costa Rica. In 2011 we hiked to a volcano and drove through the jungle
to see a very nice waterfall.

Transportation to/from airport, food and drink are included in cost. We
have full use of the station, antennas, power supplies, amplifiers,
bandpass filters, switches, etc... And we're planning another BBQ with
the TI8M gang!

We must bring our radios and computers.

Cost: $600 per person Thursday - Monday with additional days costing $75
per day.

You must have a passport!

RDU to SJO $536
CLT to SJO $596
RIC to SJO $584

No other cost except your personal spending. If this sounds interesting
and something you might like to do please let me know.
Thank You,
Kyle Chavis, WA4PGM
