[PVRCNC] Postings to reflector during contests

Hey guys,
Not a really big deal, nothing personal, and I don't want to seem like a Grinch, but to "avoid the appearance of impropriety" we need to be careful what we post on the reflector during the contest hours. Not all of us are running "assisted"--in fact there is no such category for QRP. Celebratory emails like "just worked nnn for my sweep on 14.063" or "xxx is running on 10M" is something that if I need that mult and I read my emails, it's hard to unknow that information and should consider myself "assisted", even if it is unintentional. (Too bad I had already worked the ones that were mentioned ;-)
If everyone thinks it's a good thing to have "intra-club" spotting on the reflector, that's OK as well if we announce it in advance so the unassisted group can turn off their email. Not a good option as other stuff also comes in but I could live with it. Otherwise, let's think before hitting the send button and whether we are unintentionally providing assistance to others in the unassisted categories.
73,
