[PVRCNC] Suggestions for Antennas for DXpedition

OK first of all, I hope you dont think this is a dumb question.

I have the chance to visit a number of countries in the next year.  I am in
the process of applying for my VU license (I still have dreams of getting to
VU4 or VU7, but I digress....), and may be looking at XW and a small chance
at XU.  I will be in Europe (DL, PA, OZ, F, G, MAYBE LX)  the week after
Dayton and heading to Peru again this fall.

That said, I am looking to put together a VERY portable station that I can
pack in in a small case.  I have an FT-100 right now, but would be open to
other suggestions.  My main concern is finding a decent antenna that I can
break down into a suitcase.  Here is where I am looking for input.  If I
need to build something myself that is fine too.  While I am at it, a light
120/230 12V power supply is on my list as well.

So yes I am going shopping at Dayton.  :-D

Also, if any of your have war stories about customs and radios, I am all
ears.  I usually carry a bunch of photo equipment, and have only been
hassled once.
