 In case you want to start a pirate radio station with that 10KW transmitter that Kent just listed, here is an opportunity to get a portable antenna, a trailer and truck to handle everything...

Progress Energy is having an equipment surplus sale on May 13 which includes a trailer-mounted Triex telescopic steel tower.  According to my contact, it is probably good for 80-100 ft.  You can see a picture at the following site, www.motleys.com.  Select the Industrial auctions and look for the one titled Utility Trucks and Equipment... located in Garner, NC.  The picture of the tower is down near the bottom of the list of pics.  There are enough trucks to start your own small utility company.

Note that the picture of the tower shows another tower in the background.  That second one is the replacement for the one being sold.
