          Soapbox : It was great to have Dan, N3ND back with us again for
another event.  We also welcomed Mike KF7ADB to the N4A FD CW Team and once
again Guy,
    K2AV created an new and different, highly effective antenna which gave
us an omni pattern on 40.  Despite two visits from everyone's nemesis, Mr.
Murphy, 
   who stopped by to delay our start time by half an hour then returned at
3:00 a.m. for another unwelcome visit we overcame problems he brought along.

   Our goal was to break our previous 1K Q count on 40 CW and would have
easily done so but for our 3:00 a.m. visitor.  
 
   There is nothing better than a perfect FD site, nice weather and having
fun with good friends. This year will go in our diary as another great
outing 
   leaving little doubt we won't be back for more next year.  The only
difference will be keeping our FD location Top Secret so Mr. Murphy has to
go elsewhere.
