As luck has it, the first Thursday of September falls on September 1, 2011.

Therefore it is again time for the NC East chapter meeting (tomorrow as 
of the time of this spam generation).  Same NC East time(6:00 pm, 
2011/09/01), same NC East channel(Manchester's Bar and Grill on 
Leesville rd, N. Raleigh).

Since it is never too early to give Sweepstakes some drum-beating love, 
I expect that to happen.  Probably also some eyeball QSO's, high levels 
of QRM, 807 quaffing, pleasant tasting victual munchings, and other such 
bacchanalian events will take place.  Guests, visitors, contesters, and 
passing-through-extra-territorial members are all welcome.  Been MIA? 
No problemo, we'll find a chair.


FYI: In another cosmic coincidence, the service provider that hosts the 
NC East Chapter website (pvrcNC.org), will be doing some 
techno-geek/undercover/behind-the-scenes maintenance tonight(8/31). 
These background changes may have a impact on the availability and 
function of the NC website.  Or not.

I can verify the "or not" would be the preferred outcome.  :o
