[PVRCNC] '02 ice storm (was Re: tornadoes)

Hi Alan,
    That ice storm was no fun for me either. When things had calmed down
we went out to look around, and while standing approximately where this
picture was taken I looked up at a big pine and said to my wife "look
how that's bent over. It could break at any..." and the top 30' of the
tree broke off and did a karate chop as you can see. On the other side
out of site is a 15m monobander that I just now repaired. The station is
on the back side where the window is. Luckily the tree didn't make it
into the station, unlike my 10x20' station at another QTH that was
literally cut in half during hurricane Floyd.
