I think the closest damage to here was a few miles to the east in Holly
Springs. My 40/80 wire is down and the brand new veggie plants got
heavily pounded by hail, but we'll take that in  place of downed trees
or injury.

I was driving through Apex as the bad stuff was approaching and it did
look like something out of "The Wizard of Oz."
