[PVRCNC] We need your help for a PVRC-NC table at RARSfest on April 23!

RARS has generously agreed to allow us to have a PVRC-NC table at RARSfest.
We can use this to foster good about contesting, give them a reason to call
in with QSOs for us during contests, and attract more PVRC members.  We do
have our SS gavel to defend!

Please help out in the following ways:

1. Contact Will, AA4NC, about manning the table for a period of time.  Even
30 min ­ 1 hour shifts will let us have a solid presence throughout the day.

2. Lend some photographs that we can show at the table ­ unusual or
interesting places, photos of you operating your station, multi-ops having
fun, etc.  Let me know what you have and I will coordinate with you.
3. Lend some plaques, certificates, and any other items of interest to
attract folks and serve as conversation starters.  Again, let me know what
you have and I will coordinate with you.

Will is working on setting up Rufz or MorseRunner to have running at the
table.

Does anybody want to host a multi-op contest effort for ³newbies?²  We can
have them sign up at RARSfest and have a good experience contesting?  (Just
make sure the contest you pick is early enough that they can join and add SS
points!)

Any other ideas?

This could be a huge win for PVRC and lots of fun as well!
