[PVRCNC] PVRC-NC East meeting Thursday

Please mark your calendars for the October NC-East Chapter meeting on 
Thursday October 7th.  "Regular" place(Manchesters' on Leesville rd in 
North Raleigh).

Everyone is welcome to attend.

The contest season will soon begin to rain QSO's like my vertically 
gifted biological antenna supports shed their leaves.  Fire up your 
radios and rake some Q's in.

Its also nearly time for 2010 Sweepstakes rabble rousing, so you rabble 
should begin thinking about being roused.

Speaking of Sweepstakes....an FYI.  Due to the ARRL having changed the 
functionality of their scores database, there will no longer be updates 
to the call history data supplied in 2008 and 2009.

Sadly, there will also be no way for me to continue collecting data 
about the QSO band distributions over time which was the original and 
primary reason I have for gathering the data.  Quite annoying.  [Image
