This will be the last post about my tower de-installation. If you have already corresponded with me there is no need to do so again.

The final and locked in date is Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 8 am. The address is 292 Jenkins Farm Road, Rocky Mount, NC. Google and most GPS will put you too far to the west of this rural location. It is located about 1/4 mile just east of where Hwy 43 crosses Jenkins Farm Road in SW Edgecombe county.

It will happen in any weather condition, the only thing that will stop it is if the crane operator deems some condition not safe to operate the crane. In that case it will come down with an ax. (This is not a joke, I will have an ax with me)

I will have biscuits for all in the morning, box lunches at noon, and when its over I will pick up the tab at Outback Steak House for anyone who wants to join me there. (and is willing to drive me home after that)

And so everyone knows, I will be the only one climbing the tower. Please let me know if you can lend a hand so I will be properly prepared. Most of the work will involve dismantling what the crane puts on the ground and loading the 5 ton trailer.

I have permission to erect it back up at my current QTH and with any luck I will be QRV for next fall! But first things first...

Thanks, Marty / W4MY
