Top scoring PVRC/NC gets a one year subscription to NCJ (note: N1LN +
N4AF Dq'd from the NCJ competition)

Activity in the NS can be humbling but WILL help your timing and is
really a super way to see how your
station is working. --- worth noting that top scoring Atlantic champ
NO3M uses ALL DIPOLES approx 50' up.

There are a couple ways to compete:

1) compare your results from ladder begin to end to adjudicate skills
or station improvement. Eg, you compete with self
2) compete in our geographical section (Atlantic).
3) compete in our geographic section on a club basis for top new score
in PVRC/NC


I will post the schedule--also worth noting the NS is preceded by the
NSL (slow speed). A great way for slower
guys to get their speed up, but also ensures you are QRV for the
immediately following NS--and develop a band
strategy based on realtime QRN/Propagation.
As I recall you can drop your two lowest scores in the ladder, so go
ahead and make any club meeting conflicts and
drop that weeks score.
