[PVRCNC] Radio needed

I have an immediate need for a radio for NCQP this Sunday.

My IC-706M2G started intermittently going deaf on RX.  The situation is such that in times of no-rx it returns to normal when the T/R switch is activated by the PTT or cw key.  With time being short and finding no obvious problem on the bench, I secured another borrowed 706 here from a friend in the local club.

This 706 worked for a few days and now has no TX output.  In talking with its' owner I got, "oh yea, that's been a problem with that rig for a long time"

I've had this setup in my mobile for over 4 years without a lick of trouble.  Does anyone have a 706 I could borrow over the weekend coming up?  I promise it will not break, as we all know three is a charm.

I'm sure there are lots of suggestions as to better/alternate rigs to use, but at this short time, I need a rig I can literally drop into the bracket under the driver seat and connect to the remote head already installed.
