[PVRCNC] February 18 K4QPL open house with K4BAI 7:30 p.m. >>>

Hi all,

As I mentioned at club meetings, John Laney, K4BAI, contest operator 
extraordinaire and my college roommate, is joining us to operate NY4A at 
N4AF for ARRL DX CW on the Feb 19-21 weekend. John arrives at RDU about 6 
p.m. next Thursday and will be staying overnight with Tricia and me before 
we head down to Howie's for the test.

We will have light snacks and assorted beverages on hand from around 7:30 
next Thursday evening and welcome all PVRC'ers to drop in, meet John or 
renew his acquaintance. No need to bring anything, but if you have a 
preferred 807 manufacturer etc., feel free to BYO instead of taking pot 
luck.

We'll be gathering in the house and the shack will be open for guest ops. 
You're welcome to use the long driveway, but if you don't want to play 
musical cars when you leave, park on the street.

We're just off Norwood Road which runs between Leesville near I-540 and 
Creedmoor Rd (NC 50). 4th house on left when you turn on Farmwood, White 
with white detached garage/hamshack.

No problem if you won't know until the last minute but a QSL from definites 
appreciated. Look forward to seeing as many of the gang as can make it to 
welcome John to PVRC country.
