Have you tried Skype? The client is available for Mac and PC. I use it to

Guys,

Trying to set up webcam link between here and daughter/grandchild in FL.
PC-PC setup with a logitech webcam works fine.  Unfortunately they have an
MAC computer.

Nothing seems to bridge that gap.  They are unwilling to try various
proposed solutions there.  I'm unwilling to try AIM.  Stalemate.

One solution is to provide them with a laptop PC and bypass the problem
entirely.

Anybody got something like a 1 GHZ WIN-XP laptop with WIFI and USB2
collecting dust?

The XYL's solution is to move to FL.  No way.
