Guys,
I wonder if one of you might help me out-- perhaps via telephone.
I've spent almost 4 days trying to track down an infection which
apparently redirects FIREFOX to a bogus page (which is blocked by ISP).
So far I've determined that the problem only occurs when enable JAVA
script is active. I've been through rounds of virus scans with 6
different scanners and everything else is clean. I've also been through
hundreds of pages of internet help type pages on the issue.
This is only an issue with FIREFOX. My old Netscape still runs OK. Most
sites can be browsed OK with JAVA script turned off.
My non-expert conclusion is that there is a JAVA script in hiding
somewhere in the FIREFOX structure. I simply can't find it.
