Reached my goal with time to spare. Got the amp back on line after replacing 
all the doorknob caps in the tank and rebuilding the bandswitch which made 
my leisurely S&P operating a lot more fun.

Will definitely be a more serious effort for SS CW but will miss SS SSB this 
year.
